Training tapes your "students" will
remember...
Pre-production
This is the blueprint stage of a video -- script writing, shot list generation,
selecting background music, determining what animation will be useful, choosing a format
to shoot on, scheduling talent, locations, lighting, cameras and crew.
Kodiak Video Productions can
even provide editing services for written copy or brochures. Call today for a quote
or price list of services.
Production
During this stage we gather the raw materials -- footage from the scheduled shoots on
location or in the studio, recording the narration and/or original music, designing and
rendering the animation.
Kodiak Video Productions camera
operators use a Sony DSR200 DV cam with Bogen tripod and Photoflex softbox lights. Second camera is a Canon GL1. We can also
recommend professional voice-over and on-camera talent (see "Talent").
Post-production
With everything collected we build the project -- footage is digitized and edited,
titles are inserted, special effects are incorporated, and after a rough and then final
review, the master program is duplicated to the desired final format.
Kodiak Video Productions can
help with your editing project. We use a state of the art Avid DV Express
on a Windows NT IBM Intellistation. For longer, non-critical projects we
have an Avid Media Suite Pro digital editing
system with tape back-up. We can provide you a VHS time code window dub
for off-line review of the raw footage and we can output to Beta. 3/4, SVHS,
DVCAM, CD or VHS.
